ENDODONTICS
“Endo” is the Greek word for “inside” and “odont” is Greek for “tooth.” Endodontic treatment treats the inside of the tooth. Usually, the best resource to answer all of these questions is the dentist. At Smiles for Kids, we want to provide you with a comprehensive, easy-to-understand guide to dental hygiene.
What is endodontics treatment?
Tooth abscess evolves as a result of dental pulp bacterial infection (mostly because of the cavity). While bacterias are attacking the nerve, pain is going bigger and with time is decreasing. If the tooth is not treated at all, then the abscess becomes gangrene which is spreading through the root of the tooth and crosses over his top devastating it. At stronger infection, it is creating a purulent content which more aggressively devastates bones with strong pains.
How to prevent and remove the toothache?
Like any other health threat, gum disease is treatable, and the earlier it is noticed, the more easily it is treated. The dentists and hygienists at Smiles For Kids Dental Care treat gum disease by thoroughly cleaning your teeth, which will help keep gum disease from getting worse.
Next, if you have any broken or misaligned teeth, we will repair or correct them. This will enable you to proceed with the second stage of treatment: careful dental hygiene. You may be asked to use tartar- or plaque-fighting toothpaste to prevent a second build-up and repeated symptoms.
