White Fillings for Kids
The most common treatment for cavities. Our white fillings use composite resin that matches the tooth’s natural color — no silver amalgam, no visible metal.
Dental Crowns for Kids
When a tooth is too damaged for a filling alone, a dental crown protects what remains. We use both stainless steel crowns and tooth-colored crowns depending on the tooth’s location and the child’s individual situation.
Pulp Therapy (Pulpotomy)
When cavities reach the inner pulp, pulp therapy removes infected tissue and seals the tooth — preserving the baby tooth until it’s ready to fall out naturally.
Baby Tooth Extraction
When a tooth cannot be saved, gentle extraction protects adjacent teeth and prepares for proper permanent tooth eruption. Space maintainers are placed as needed.
Why Treating Pediatric Cavities in Baby Teeth Matters
Parents sometimes wonder whether cavities in baby teeth really need treatment since those teeth will fall out anyway. The answer is yes — and here’s why. Baby teeth hold space for permanent teeth, support proper speech development, allow normal chewing, and significantly impact a child’s confidence and comfort.
Untreated cavities can spread, cause pain, lead to infection, and affect permanent tooth development underneath.
Restorative care done early is always simpler, less extensive, and less expensive than treating advanced decay. Find the location nearest to you to schedule your child’s evaluation.
